John Patrick C. Nealon
joined Panuzio & Giordano Public Affairs in 2006 and immediately began
working the 2007 Connecticut legislative session. Mr. Nealon graduated with a J.D.
from Roger Williams University Law School in Bristol, Rhode Island in
May 2006. During law school, J.P. was a research assistant for Professor
Keeva Terry on tax issues related to the American Jobs Creation Act of 2004
and a law clerk to John C. Manni, Esq. of Johnston, Rhode Island where he
drafted pleadings and performed legal research. He also interned in the
General Counsel and Government Affairs department at GTECH Corporation, as
well as the General Counsel's Office at Brown University.
Following graduation from law school, J.P. worked as the Statewide Field Organizer
on the successful re-election campaign of U.S. Senator Joseph Lieberman.
After the 2006 campaign, J.P. joined Panuzio & Giordano as a Connecticut
General Assembly Lobbyist and research assistant.
J.P. passed the Connecticut Bar Exam in March 2007 and is admitted
as a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.
During the 2007 Connecticut legislative session, Mr. Nealon worked on several
issues for the Connecticut Mortgage Brokers, Homes for America and Mothers
Against Drunk Driving.
J.P. has consulted on local political races including the re-election
campaign of Mayor John Picard of West Haven. J.P. is also a member of
the Greater Hartford Young Democrats and the Suffield Democratic Town Committee. |
